The PoolDrops Workflow

From Taylor drops to crystal clear water in 3 simple steps.

Traditional calculator apps force you to do mental math, slide tiny dials, and guess generic chemical dosages. PoolDrops is built directly around your physical Taylor test kit.

Step 1: TestTaylor Test Kits

Count drops as you swirl. Zero mental math.

Swirl your Taylor vial and tap the big button for every titrating drop. PoolDrops automatically calculates ppm using your 10mL (0.5 ppm) or 25mL (0.2 ppm) sample size.

Step 2: Sequence Safe Chemistry

Enforce the Golden Addition Order.

Chemicals fight each other when added in the wrong sequence. PoolDrops automatically orders treatments to lock your alkalinity buffer, prevent wild pH bounce, and maximize sanitizer power.

Golden Addition OrderEnforced Automatically

Alkalinity First

Locks your pH buffer against bounce

Baking Soda

Adjust pH Second

Bring pH into the sweet spot (7.4–7.6)

Muriatic Acid

Chlorine Last

Sanitizes at peak water balance

Liquid Bleach

Safety Rule: Always add chemicals to water, never water to chemicals. Pour slowly in front of return jets with the pump running.

Step 3: DoseStandard Retail Items

Prescribed in cups, boxes & store bags.

Skip 300% pool store markups on fancy packaging. PoolDrops prescribes pure retail products you can buy at Walmart, Home Depot, or Costco.
